Connecticut casino region
Two destination resorts, one short drive. Mohegan Sun (Uncasville) and Foxwoods (Mashantucket) sit on the I-395 corridor in southeastern Connecticut — between New York, Boston, Providence, and Hartford. This page is how to choose one property or treat them as a two-stop weekend. It is not a third brochure.
Drive times as ranges, not GPS theater: NYC about 2½–3½ hours, Boston 1½–2½, Providence or Hartford about an hour, Bradley or T.F. Green about an hour from the airports. The two resorts are roughly 15–20 minutes apart. A car is the honest default. Bus tours exist. A train still leaves you short of either driveway. Fly in via BDL or PVD — search both below.
Stay at one if you want a simple weekend. Hop if you want the arena one night and the museum or the other floor the next. Parking is on-site at both; winter storms on I-395 are the real delay, not the miles between them.
This is the practical Northeast alternative to a cross-country Las Vegas flight. Trip type: Casinos.
